Sorry I have not written for a couple of days, I guess I have been enjoying myself in Vancouver. 

 

Dan, Jenn and I left Winnipeg on Thursday, May 28th around 4PM and drove straight through, arriving in Vancouver on Friday, May 29th around 7PM.  We checked into our hotel and went for supper.  On Saturday, Dan and Jenn rented two bikes and we went to Stanley Park and biked around the park for over 3 hours.  We found ourselves shopping to fill time: visiting IKEA, Granville Island, and Metrotown Centre.  I found some time to visit my cousin, Jan.  The glass of wine we had was quite large, let's say. 

 

Today, we arrived in White Rock around 5PM and were greeted by our hosts, Jan (not my cousin) and her husband Tim.  They are absolutely wonderful hosts, offering rooms to spend the night. 

 

We anxiously kick off the tour tomorrow in Dogwood Park around 9AM.  I am getting tired, will sleep shortly.
