Franken & Mazel
Franken & MazelWe just love our guys Franken and Mazel! They are best buddies whom we treasure very much.

We are foster parents for D'Arcy's ARC, and Mazel (Hebrew word for "lucky") was our very first foster "guest".  He came to us as an eight week old kitten in need of lots of TLC and medicine, as he had injuries from being shot through the head by a BB gun. As we nursed him back to health, he touched our hearts so much that we immediately adopted him and he never left our home, quickly becoming King of the Castle too!

A few years later we met Franken, the ARC's TV star, at the Shelter and knew we would be the "purrfect" parents for him. He is our special Angel who reminds us daily how valuable all life is. Although he has 3 ears, he is almost totally deaf, so depends upon us and his buddy Mazel to guide him. He also has vertigo and a crooked jaw with misaligned teeth, but always greets us with a "chirp" and a nose kiss.  D'Arcy's ARC saw through all of his challenges, right to his big loving heart and gave him a second chance at life.

We will be forever grateful to the wonderful, caring staff at the ARC for saving Franken and Mazel and bringing them into our lives.  Paws up for D'Arcy's ARC!!
